When it comes to water damage restoration or water damage repair, “Dry-Out Medics” are here for San Diego residents whenever they’re facing an emergency flood or water damage situation to their homes. Our IICRC certified technicians are on stand-by, ready to be dispatched for a no cost assessment within the hour of receiving the distress call. From natural disasters to broken pipes inside the home, water damage can affect the structural integrity of the home and the residents health if not contained, removed and dried out in a timely manner in accordance with the IICRC Ansi 500 dry standard. That is why we are considered an emergency service and covered by homeowners insurance. White Water – is the most common type of water damage that comes from water coming from sink overflows, supply lines and broken or pinhole leaks in pipes. This water is the least contaminated, but if not treated quickly and correctly it can spread quickly. Grey Water – this is water that comes from your dishwasher, laundry, or garbage disposal. This does have contaminants in the water and will affect all the permeate materials it touches, such as carpet, laminate flooring, furniture, cabinetry etc.  Black Water – this is water that comes from toilet overflows, soft clogged toilets, and sewer backups. This is the most contaminated water, because it is essentially poop water hence the name black and it is essential for it to be handled as an emergency. Time is of the utmost importance. Call Dry Out Medics immediately so we can get to your property and start the process of removing the water and restoring it right away. By acting fast, you’ll minimize the damage to your property and prevent further problems, including mold infestation. If you file an insurance claim, you may receive guidance from your insurance representative. However, this is a decision you must reach on your own. There are several factors to consider. Safety is paramount. Our equipment is as childproof as possible, but we require your supervision to make sure no children play with it. Air movers and dehumidifiers will create noise and make your property drafty for a few days. It is important that the equipment remains on, so if the noise is disruptive to you, you might want to consider an alternate place to stay. Yes, it absolutely can be. The Centers for Disease Control and other health agencies warn that mold spores can pose serious health risks for people with breathing problems. In addition, certain types of mold – including black mold (stachybotrys chartarum) – can cause adverse effects even in healthy people.

Dry-Out Medics did an amazing job drying out my moms house. She had a water heater leak that spread into the living room, and Dry-Out Medics made the process go by so smoothly. They were extremely professional, helped us get approved by the insurance company, and most importantly, were extremely kind and considerate to my mom. If you have any water damage, I couldn’t recommend them enough. They saved us a lot of hassle (and a lot of money).

There was a leak in my girlfriend house this past weekend. It was coming from around her bathroom toilet. I was able to help stop the leak. But I didn’t know what else to do to help dry it other than using towels. My girlfriend looked up companies that help dry rooms with be fans and heater. That’s how she found Dry Out Medics. After we called they showed up within an hour. They gave us a free assessment, told her some options she had. They ended up leaving a machine and with in 3 days the bathroom was back to normal.
